Creating
a PAX file or patching directly:
Click
File -> Open to open file. Browse screen appears. Click on file name
once and file name and size appears at the bottom of that window. Double-Click
file name to open it.
File
is loaded and ready for changes to be made to it. To change data, double-click
on it.
Delete existing data in the blue block and enter new byte. Press enter
when finished.If you have made all the changes, you can create a PAX
file Or execute changes.A Pax file has to be created before executing
changes. Before creating a PAX file, edit info.txt and insert your details.
This only has to be done once. These details are displayed when a patch
is run with Patcher or QuickPatcher ( See QuickPatcher
).
Patching
using a PAX file :
Before making changes to the data (file),
you can open an existing PAX file. Settings can be selected before loading
PAX file.
After loading PAX file, execute it. Original file will be backed up
and the new patched file created.
